Kurt Thum’s painterly images of forests and their ferns remind us of the spirituality of nature. “I want to convey a sense of the preciousness of the unspoiled landscape,” he says. His works can be found in New York, Connecticut, New Mexico, Arizona, Florida, and Washington State.
Thum has exhibited his work in galleries and museums throughout New Jersey, including the Monmouth Museum, Georgian Court College, Pavilion Galleries, Kean College, the PNC Arts Center (Garden State Arts Center), Bell Laboratories World Headquarters, Jentra Gallery, Rabbet Gallery and Gallery Jupiter.
Kurt holds a B.A., Fine Art, Upsala College and an M.A., Fine Art, Kean University.
